Noah James:
Is a first grader! He's doing well in school. Unfortunately, he's not a big fan of it. He's doing really well on his school work. He told me "I don't know why I have to do all this stuff again. I already know how to do all of it". Bless him. He's a little bored. We're hoping to get a game plan with his teacher on Monday (1st parent/teacher conference). He still has one main best friend who is a girl. Josh and I really wish that he would branch out some, but he still is struggling some socially. This "girl" that he's friends with is just a tad bossy with him and very possessive of him (doesn't want him to play with other people). So, that's not good. Other than that, things are okay. He doesn't seem to be having as many meltdowns when he comes home and he's been super sweet with his brothers lately. Great things. A couple of days ago he was taking turns going back and forth pushing them in their swings. So sweet.
Nate-Nate:
Is having a great time so far at preschool! He really loves it and has been doing great. He's just so sweet and such a rule-follower. He's very social and makes friends easily. His bff is Jackson and they are so cute playing together. His teacher is new this year (Mrs. Jamie). She's young and very sweet. I think she's doing a great job. He is staying all day this year (Tue-Thur 9-2:30), so he eats lunch and takes a nap at school. He loves it! He's doing a good job on his papers at school and I think will be more than ready for K next year. He's still a good helper and loves to "surprise" me by putting on his clothes or brushing his teeth all by himself.
Nicholas:
My precious baby. Who is really not a baby anymore :(. He is 20 months old now (as of yesterday!). He will be 2 in 4 short months. Wow. Anyway, he is doing great! He is still a big boy..weighing 30 lbs at his 18 month checkup. He is in 2T and 3T clothes. He is such a people person. He likes to wave and blow kisses at people. And hug. He wants to hug everyone. and everything. It's so so sweet. And, he's such a big talker. He's been talking in sentences for a while now. He talks and talks and talks and talks. So much more than his brothers did. I think he's going to be our most out-going child. He's say things like "I see airplane!" and "I'll get it" and "I love you!" He's also really good with names and will call most people by their names. He still has not had his first hair-cut, and he has some seriously long blond locks. They're so sweet and soft and wavy..it's going to be a sad day for this mama when we get it cut. But, it probably will be soon (maybe next week!)
That's about it! We're busy busy, but having fun! Lots of fun fall stuff coming up - yay!!!!
