Ahhhh....Fall :)

We've had a wonderful, beautiful fall so far this year. It is definitely my favorite season..with winter being a close second (I know..I'm weird). I just love it. I love the gorgeous colors, the crispness in the air, the decorations, the cozy, yummy food, the decorations...I could go on and on.
Josh and Noah had their fall break a couple of weeks back and we did some fun things! We went to the Aquarium restaurant one night at Opry Mills and then we walked around. The boys loved The Aquarium. It is a really neat restaurant! And, the boys did really well during the meal - I was proud. They also had a lot of fun at the Lego Store and Toys R Us looking and getting ideas for Christmas presents (it's right around the corner!!!).
On Tuesday we had a great day at the zoo. It had been a while since we had gone and Nicholas was really too little to enjoy it the last time we went. This time, all the boys loved it and had a great time. And, although we brought the stroller, Nicholas wanted to walk. The.whole. time. Which is good...but, let's be honest..it would have been a lot easier if he had ridden some. But, he's a "big boy" now, and wants to do like his brothers (because he thinks he's 5). He did great though..it was a fun day!
On Friday night, we had the wienie roast at the Drake's. It is a definitely a favorite of our family and   we look forward to it every year. It's fun to get together around the bon fire with friends from church and roast hotdogs and marshmallows and visit. The boys love playing on the swingset and in the shed and with the other kids from church that were there.

On Saturday, we went with our church group to the Ring Farm outside of Columbia, TN. It was a beautiful day! The boys had a blast. They loved the big slide and all the activities. We also had a hayride and bonfire (more hotdogs and marshmallows!). Unfortunately I had dropped my camera at the fire pit and didn't realize it until we were all the way back to the entrance of the farm. So, the owner, Mr. Ring, drove me on his four-wheeler back to the pit and we found it! Yay!!! The boys were so worn out that ALL 3 fell asleep on the way home (that never happens)! Fun, fun day.

We also had a fun Halloween this year! Trunk or Treat went great at church. The big boys dressed up as Mario and Luigi (they love Mario games these days). Nicholas was a dragon (Nate's costume from last year..we called him "Bowzer" haha). They were full of energy and excitement that night (especially Noah..he was wound up!). My parents and Frank and Allyson came to see the boys in their costumes. Then, we ate chili and other goodies after trunk or treat. Oh, and Josh dressed up as a storm trooper running for president (where does he come up with this stuff??). For actual Halloween night, we ate dinner at the Coleman's before church. Paulette made an awesome dinner and Ashley and Matthew came too! It was great to catch up with them. And, George got the boys all "riled up" as usual. ;)

Noah thought it was funny to put his moustache on everything :)

This was the best we could get for a family photo ;)

Aww thanks Kris!! That's so funny because so many people think Noah looks just like Josh. But, I see a lot of me in him too :) They are getting so big! Growing too fast!
