YAY!! Summer. Is. Here.

Finally. It's summer time! (Well, not technically since "summer" doesn't start until mid-June, but school's out and to me that means summer!) Anyway, I'm so glad. Especially for Josh. That man needs a break. He has had too much on his plate the last few months. Teaching full-time, preaching, coaching baseball, and taking 2 classes from Lipscomb University. He is finished with everything except preaching of course. It'll be nice to have a more laid-back schedule :)

The boys are doing great. Noah wrapped up 1st grade and did really well. All in all, he had a good year. He made new friends, learned a lot, and matured. Oh, and grew a lot..he's getting so tall! We really liked his 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Frazier. She was so sweet to Noah. Next year he'll have Mrs. Graham who is really sweet too! Something that I enjoyed at the end of the year was coming to field day and eating lunch with Noah. He has never wanted me to eat lunch with him before at school and this time he did! We enjoyed hamburgers and french fries :) He was so cute telling me how to do everything and showing me where everything was. I just love that boy!!
Nate's face cracks me up!
Nathanael finished up preschool with a precious graduation. My mom came (and Josh too of course) and he had the sweetest program. His teacher, Mrs. Jamie was wonderful. He sang several songs and was so cute..he was smiling and looking at us..you could tell how proud he was! Then, Mrs. Jamie introduced each child in her class and told a little about each one. When she talked about Nate she said how sweet he was and her nickname for him was "snuggle-bug". She also talked about how he was the  class clown (in a good way) and kept everyone laughing! She also said he wants to be a doctor when he grows up (nice!). He is definitely a people-person. Afterwards, we had cookies and punch in the courtyard. It was a nice day for it. I will miss seeing all the sweet kids and Mrs. Jamie too! We really love Bellevue CoC preschool and I know Nicholas will enjoy it when he goes in a couple years.
Also, he wrapped up T-ball and had a fun season! It was so cute to watch him and all those little boys play ball. Josh was a great coach!

Getting ready to sing!

Singing a sweet song.

Our big graduate! :)

Grandmama and her boys.

We will miss Mrs. Jamie!!!

Nicholas is doing good too. He is still strong-willed and thinks he is five, but things are getting easier with him. We were going through this major struggle of him NOT wanting to get in his car seat when we would go places. It was a. huge. pain. But, thankfully he is getting in it better and we're all happier :). Oh, and he started climbing out of his crib. I would put him to bed and he would climb right back out. And I'd put him right back in. And we would do this sometimes for 30 + minutes. But, the last 2 nights, he has stayed in his bed when I put him in. Yay! I think we're going to move him to a big boy bed this summer. We just never had one to climb out of the crib, so the other 2 stayed in their cribs until they were 3 (Nate was actually 3 1/2). We figured, if it ain't broke..you know. But, Nicholas has thrown us all kinds of curve balls :). But, he is so much fun and is full of personality. He is talking up a storm and just loves life! We've decided we're not going to sell him to the gypsies just yet ;).
I found a caterpillar outside and Nicholas loved it :)

Some things I'm looking forward to:
 - Today is Memorial Day and we're going over to Mom and Dad's for a cookout with Frank and Allyson :)

- We're going to at least 3 VBS's this summer!

- Doing fun things this summer..swimming, the zoo, the library, parks and playgrounds, taking the big boys to Holiday World are just a few things on the agenda :)

Yay for summer!!!!!
