He is also very active. I joke that Nicholas is going to be our "rough and tumble" boy because he is so different from his brothers! And, he has done everything really early- from holding his head up and rolling over both ways. He can scoot backwards and is getting up on his hands and knees and rocking. Look out big brothers, Nicholas will be mobile soon! I hear about these kids that climb out of their cribs at 18 mos. old...Noah and Nate never did that. They loved their cribs. Nathanael would probably still be in his crib if it wasn't for Nicholas needing it. And he'll be 4 in November. I joked with my Mom the other day that Nicholas will probably be our baby to climb out of his crib. And, I can just see him trying to tackle his brothers as soon as he can toddle around. And, they'll probably let him...because they love him so much.
Nicholas is still a little chunk :). At his 6 month check-up he was 22 1/2 lbs (off the chart). And 27.8 inches long (80th %). He has started eating more things. He has had carrots, sweet potatoes, peas, squash, bananas, peaches, pears, apples, apricots, and cereal. He loves everything! He favorite veggie has probably been peas (surprising!) and his favorite fruit is probably bananas. He loves his mesh teether. I can put fresh bananas, apples, pears, peaches in it and he chews/sucks on it. Loves it!!
He is such a happy baby. He is quick to flash a smile and laughs a lot. He loves to watch his big brothers and he loves to snuggle with his mama. We love our sweet boy!!
