The last days of summer...

School is right around the corner. This is crazy to me. This summer has definitely been the fastest summer in history - at least to me. And, my baby is starting kindergarten. Big school. NEXT WEEK. I'm not going to talk about that right now.
What I am going to talk about is what we've been up to these last few lazy days of summer. The boys have gotten extremely close. The other day, Nathanael told his Grandmama "We're brothers and we're best friends". This is definitely true. I mean, they fuss and argue occasionally like siblings do, but all in all they truly are best friends. They do not like to be apart from each other. They spend their days playing together and they also share a room now - so they are literally together ALL day and ALL night. Which makes the closing of summer very bitter sweet. Hopefully they will stay as close even though they will be away from each other most of the day starting next week (tear).
Speaking of "brothers and best friends"..I came across this scene the other day after nap time:
Nate said he wanted "to snuggle".

They were watching a show.

Then, as boys do, they started getting wild :)

This is classic Nathanael. And, Noah tolerates it ;) .

We also went swimming the other day at the pool by my parents house. The boys had a blast. They love the water. Nicholas loved it as long as his little body could hold out. Then, he took a nap on a towel. Good times!

sweetness.

It's hard to believe that this summer break is coming to an end. It's been a good one with lots of memories. But, with summer break ending, that means that my most favorite time of year (fall) is right around the corner and I can't wait.

haha..that's ok :) Thanks for commenting. I just started it in July. I've been wanting to do one for a while- wish I had started it sooner. It's a good outlet for me and a great way to keep up with memories. :)
