I cannot believe that March 1st is tomorrow. Where in the world has the time gone?? It seems like Christmas was yesterday. We've been busy..like always :) Here are some updates:
Noah James: I'm so proud of this boy that I think my heart could burst. Noah has been doing so well! His school work is great. His behavior has been wonderful at school AND at home. We've started a new discipline strategy at home that has worked wonders with Noah. I wrote down our "House Rules" (basic stuff..Be Kind, Obey Parents, Use your manners, etc.) but, I explained each one in detail to Noah and Nathanael. I also wrote out the consequences and rewards and explained those too. Well, Noah is a structure kind of kid. He wants to know what we expect. He doesn't like surprises. So, this works great for him! He was the first one to fill up his sticker chart to 10 and got the first reward. He has been acting so mature and sweet lately. It's great!!! He had his boosterthon fun run at NCS again this year. We raised $105 for him and he ran all 35 laps. He was so determined..it was super cute to watch. His brothers and I cheered him on! It's a great fundraiser for NCS.

Nathanael: He's been doing good too. Preschool is still going well..I just can't wrap my brain around the fact that he'll be going to kindergarten in the fall! Again, where does the time go??? Anyway, he's been pushing the boundaries a little with his behavior at home. I think he's been in time-out more this past month than he ever has! But, it's getting better. :) He had his Sweetheart Brunch at preschool (a special program honoring Moms). It was so precious..I almost cried. They sang several songs and then he gave me a flower. Then, we got to eat brunch together. I loved it.

Nicholas: Well, the "terrible twos" have started ;). They're not too terrible.. he's just really wanting to be independent. I get it. But, things like holding my hand while walking through a parking lot are not optional. Neither is throwing toys at your brothers. It's still tough to figure out the best way to discipline him. Time-out's don't really work. A stern "No!" and distraction is working pretty good right now. Even though he's a stubborn one right now, he's still a ball of cuteness that I just want to squeeze. His sayings and expressions are just too precious.Yesterday at lunch he looked at me and said "Guess what?" I said "What?" He said "I love your dimples". Hahaha..I guess he hears that a lot. I have a friend at church who has raised three boys. I love her. One day she told me "There's a reason God made 2 year olds so cute". So true..so true. ;)

We went to the circus at the end of January and had a great time! We went last year with the big boys and this year was Nicholas' first time. He enjoyed it for the most part, but got restless towards the end. The Ringling Bros. put on an impressive show though! We got popcorn and cotton candy and made some memories.

We've had a great last few weeks. What I'm looking forward to:
- I'm taking Noah and Nate to see Peter Pan at TPAC on Sunday afternoon with some friends from church. I think it will be a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to some quality time with my big boys.
- Spring Break is in a couple of weeks..we're going to Gulf Shores again and we.can't.wait. :) Yippeee!
- Noah's birthday coming up in April! I can't believe he'll be 7!!!!
