Bragging on my boys...

I just wanted to document a few sweet/cute things that the boys have done this week:

On Monday I took all 3 boys to Publix to do our weekly BIG grocery shopping. That was fun  stressful. Not that they were bad or anything..it's just so many little people who are saying/needing different things while I'm trying to cross things off my list. But, Noah and Nate were actually a really big help with trying to keep Nicholas occupied. And when he wanted to get down from the cart, Noah was great about  holding his hand and keeping him with us. Anyway.. so I was worn out by the time I got home with a gazillion groceries that I had to get out of the van and put up. Guess what my sweet little Nathanael said? That he wanted to help carry the groceries for me.  Oh, bless him. On his own he wanted to help me get the bags out of the van and carry them onto the porch. And then he helped to bring the stuff inside. The whole time he would say things like, "Look how strong I am, Mom!". It was so cute. And when Nicholas saw him helping, he wanted to help too! I love how Nicholas looks up to his big brothers and how they are teaching him some great things.

Speaking of Nicholas, he has been saying some pretty cute things lately. His latest funny thing is he'll say: "Mom, you're 'Donut' and I'm 'Chick-Filet' ". And then he'll say "How are you doing, Donut?" It's just really funny. He's got a great imagination.
I also think it's so cute how he can't say the "th" sound yet..it sounds like "f". I'll ask him a question like, "Nicholas, can you share a bite with me?" And he'll say "Umm...yeah, I fink so!" Or I'll ask him if he wants something and he'll say "No fanks". It's too cute :)

And then there's Noah. So, today Noah said, "Mom, do we have bananas??" yes. "Do we have peanut butter??" yes. "Do we have chocolate chips???" yes. He was so excited because he wanted to make this snack that he found in his Highlights magazine. So, he made it for his brothers (and him). I cut up the bananas in little circles and spread pb on some of them. He put yogurt on the others. Then, he put either chocolate chips or Lucky Charms on them. The boys were excited and liked the snack. It was a cute idea and he was really proud. :)

I can't believe this is the last day of summer. School starts tomorrow for the big boys!!
