Noah - I'm really thankful that this year Noah has transitioned back into the school routine much easier compared to years past. He gets ready quickly and is happy in the mornings. I think a lot of that is because Nathanael is going to school with him. He is doing well in school. He knows the stuff, but he doesn't always test well. I think that his mind may wander during tests or he gets distracted. Hopefully as he gets used to being back in the school environment that will improve. I think it just takes him a little longer to get adjusted. Emotionally he is doing great. He seems happy and acts like he is enjoying school and that makes us happy! He has also been really sweet at home..especially with Nicholas. He is so sweet to play with Nicholas or read to him. That makes me so proud. And Nicholas eats. it. up.
I caught Noah reading to Nicholas. This made my day. So sweet!!
He cracks me up! He found these glasses and was reading the comics from the paper. Love him!
Nathanael - Is doing good in school too. It's taken him a little longer than I thought it would to get adjusted though. He likes it..once he's there. He is not a morning person at all. It is hard to get him moving in the mornings and he's usually grouchy pants. I just don't think he's realized how much work goes into kindergarten. He misses preschool where he had a lot more play time. But, he's adjusting and making friends and we're proud of him. He has gotten in trouble a couple of times for talking and playing at rest time. He's a social kid. But, he has to learn to follow the rules too :)

I also started CBS (community Bible study) with some friends in Belle Meade. It is a non-denominational nation wide Bible study. It meets once a week from 9:30-11:30. They have a great children's program. So, while I'm at Bible study, Nicholas gets to go to his "school". He's doing pretty good, although today he really had a hard time with me leaving. It broke my heart. His teacher said he cried off and on for about 30 minutes. I hope it gets better, because it's going to be so hard to leave him if he cries every time! It's really a good class..they paint, have a Bible lesson, a snack, have music, play on the playground..they do a lot of fun stuff! And, it's good for him to have some social interaction with kids his age :)
We've had some BEAUTIFUL fall -like weather. This was at Red Caboose Park the other day :)
Anyway, that's about it! Fall is around the corner and we have lots planned. It's definitely my favorite time of year!!
