8 months old?!

Nicholas turned 8 months on Monday! Ahhhhh! This has been a big month for him. He is doing so much! He started crawling. I knew it was coming soon after he turned 7 months because he was starting to get up on his hands and knees and rock. I just still can't believe that he is doing it so early! Noah and Nate were between 9-10 months before crawling. So this is crazy to me. And, plus I've heard that "bigger babies" tend to be slower to do things like rolling over, crawling, etc. because they have more weight to move. Ha! Apparently not my big baby. He's like a super baby. Who has super strength. It's a lot of fun to watch him get around. He gets so excited when he sees something he wants. He'll start going "oooh! ooooh! ooooh!" and crawling as fast as his little fat legs can take him. It's so cute.

He also cut his first tooth! Woo hoo! After months and months of drooling and wanting to gnaw on everything, it finally cut through. I think he feels better now since it came through. And, I think that 2 more teeth are close behind. He's going to look a lot older with all these teeth :( . Why can't he stay a baby forever??

He is so much fun! He has started saying more things too. He says "dada" a lot - especially when Josh is around (and of course he loves that). He also has said "bye bye" and has started waving some. He has started clapping. Sometimes he'll crawl a little and then sit up and clap. It's really cute. He will also shake his head back and forth (like he's telling us no).

Nicholas loves his brothers. He likes to watch them play and will smile and laugh at them. And of course, crawl after them and try to get their toys. They don't mind too much and they try to look out for him. It's really sweet. And they love to kiss on him!

We're enjoying our sweet baby boy so much. He's just growing up too fast!!
